Peugeot is one of the world's top ten automobile companies and a very large French automobile group company. It was founded in 1890 by Armand Peugeot. In 1976, Peugeot annexed Citroen, a long-established French company, thus becoming a multinational industrial group in the world that mainly produces automobiles and concurrently engages in machining, transportation, finance and service industries.
